Disappointing
This was my first pair of AGOLDE jeans and my expectations were high. I was unsure which size to purchase, so I ordered my regular size 27. I always have a hard time with high-waisted jeans in that I have a smaller waist, and would like to size down, but I don't want to go too small or they will be too tight in the legs. (I carry my weight in my hips and thighs, although to look at me you wouldn't say that I am "curvy"...maybe "athletic"?) These jeans fit well in the waist, but too tight in the legs. However, I am rating these jeans 2 stars solely because of the rips. They are in really awkward spots. I am just shy of 5'5", I doubt the rips would hit in a better spot if you were taller or shorter. Coupled with the legs being tighter than expected the rips create horrible looking skin bulges that spill out the rips...super unflattering! On the plus side, these jeans were incredibly soft, a nice thicker denim, and seem to be well made.
