Upon graduating from Central Saint Martins and Brown University, Sheena Sood began her tenure as an assistant designer at Tracy Reese. In 2013, the South Asian-American designer launched abacaxi, the word for pineapple in Portuguese, and fittingly reflects the collection's fresh, colorful aesthetic. Melding Sood’s knack for textile design and vibrant patterns, the Brooklyn-based label has become a favorite amongst fashion editors.
