About the Designer
Bassike was born out of the desire to provide wardrobe staples that could be worn with ease and nonchalance. The brainchild of friends Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan, it launched in Australia in 2006 and has since become a cult favorite. What began as a breezy collection of organic T-shirts, pants, and dresses has since transitioned into more softly tailored territory.
