Big - and cheap-feeling leather
These looked adorable on the site - well, they are adorable in real life as well, but there were a few unexpected negatives. They are very stiff - the leather is not at all supple, and kind of feels like the shoes are made of cardboard. I have flat feet, so I don't know how they'd feel on non-flat-footers, but the inside edge sits low on the foot and cuts into my instep. I might have kept them despite this, but my usual MBMJ shoe size (38.5) turned out to be HUGE. I don't know when they changed the sizing, but I have three other pairs of MBMJ shoes in 38.5 and they fit perfectly. These shoes were a full size too large - I'd probably be a 37.5 if I exchanged these (which is my usual size in other shoe brands). I'm going to return them.
Sizing: Larger than Expected
