Not skin tight or too short
Sz 26 jeans, 120#. Fits true to size. Looks good unrolled also. Bright light denim shade acheives different looks when rolled up or unrolled. Sturdy fabric but not at all stiff. Love them.

Great shorts
I had ordered the 28 in these after seeing some reviews that stated they ran big, but I had to return for my regular 29. It seems the sizing in the "Jayde" is not consistent from color to color, or from the cotton poplin to the denim. BTW... the cotton poplin pairs run much bigger than these. When I received the 28, they were just a smidge too tight in the waist. The 29's were perfect, though. These are super-flattering on the bum and legs. The denim is thick and soft, and after washing one time they didn't seem to shrink at all. They do stretch out a bit after a few hours of wear, but it was mostly in the waist. For reference, I'm 5'8", 138 lbs, 29" waist, and 36" hips. If you have a much smaller waist in comparison to your hips, then you probably could go down one size from your normal TR size
