Launched in 2005, Berlin-based designer Esther Perbandt’s clothing line gained international notoriety after she appeared as a contestant on the 2020 fashion competition series Making the Cut. Known for her edgy-sleek, monochromatic aesthetic (all-black ensembles are her signature), Perbandt regularly looks to her favorite musicians, artists, and other creatives as sources of inspiration. The result: tongue-in-cheek graphic tees, menswear-inspired seperates, and high-volume midi skirts in a strikingly pared-back palette.
