About the Designer
British label Cambridge Satchel was born of necessity in 2008, when mother-daughter duo Freda Thomas and Julie Deane were searching for a way to raise money for school. Amazing
Everything about this satchel is amaizing! Its not big, but it fits all I usually care with me - my wallet, iphone, keys, lip balm, and it even fits an ipad but with out any cover. I've purchased it in yellow color and it is great, looks good with everything. It is a little bit stiff, but I'm sure that with time it'll become softer. Really recomend this satchel!

Pretty but totally impractical
I have been trying to use this bag while I'm on crutches since my regular shoulder bag is hard to manage. However, this one is much worse - it is a HUGE pain to open and close with the buckles. I suppose it would be OK if you don't ever need to open it (but then, why do you have it at all?). I'd return it if I could. Very overrated.

Great quality of leather and fabric but too small inside for all my stuff... Anyway I love it very much, simply I restricted the quantity of my stuff. Stylish, comfortable and cool.

Classic structured satchel
Its small size makes the satchel more feminine and cute. It can fit the essentials (e.g. phone, keys, wallet etc) but not much more, which is what I had expected after reading the reviews below.

I had been an admirer of the Cambridge Satchels for quite some time but only decided I needed one too back during Fall of 2012 in red.
For $140 I was quite surprised by the durability of the leather and how sharp it looked. The satchel is tough and retains its shape quite well. I will agree the buckle closure is a bit of a hassle to fumble with when opening/closing.
One "con" that i can think of is that the bag retains its shape so well it doesn't accommodate for much space from the interior of the satchel.
My husband was impressed by the bags as well and decided he wanted the large messenger sized bags (the batchel with the top handles) to use for work to carry his laptop.

Impractical
This stylish bag is for occasional use only, as the hardware is cheap and flimsy, and the double-buckle closure, while true to the iconic satchel form, is too much of a pain in the neck for everyday. Looks great in white.
