About the Designer
The Free People story begins in the 1970s, when founder Dick Hayne opened the brand’s first brick-and-mortar store in West Philadelphia. Over time, the eclectic label evolved into Urban Outfitters, but later, in 1984, Free People was relaunched as its own entity. Designed with a romantic, adventurous aesthetic, Free People caters to a contemporary bohemian lifestyle, highlighting creative spirit and effortless confidence with a unique do-it-yourself sensibility.

OK
The bottom part of the dress seems really flared out, therefore not very nice when wearing it. Nicely made though.

beautiful dreamer lace dress, xs
While I love the style of so many free people dresses, I seem to run into the issue more and more of the dresses being way too large. I am 5'3", 110lbs and a true xs/0. This dress was very large around the middle, and although most hanging dresses can still be flattering and give some shape, this dress did not. While I understand this dress is not meant to be form fitting, there was just way too much material around the waist to fall correctly on your body. The lace pattern on the dress was very nice- too bad it just was not a good fit.

Pretty, but wide
I'm 5'5", about 120 pounds, and my measurements are all about 1-2 inches bigger than the model, so I ordered a size S thinking it would be a bit longer and a bit less wide on me than on the model, but it actually looks wider, almost baggy, on me. It's fine with heels though, and it's a very pretty, well-made dress overall.
