Designer Alexis Bittar got his start selling vintage jewelry and clothing in NYC. Soon after, he began designing his own jewelry, melding art and adornment by using unique materials like chandelier parts, hand-sculpted Lucite, and turn-of-the-century Italian glass. Bittar designed Burberry's first couture jewelry collection and worked with costumer Patricia Fields on jewelry for Sex and the City. After these projects, interest in Alexis Bittar jewelry grew, and the collection has since become a fashionable favorite.
