Description

Slim bands of supple leather provide a sleek contrast to the gauzy threads on this tailored IRO jacket. The gleaming zip cuts a sharp line from the collarless neckline to the angular hem, and angled zip pockets rest at the hips. Lined.

Designer

French brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton bring their background in the music industry to their designs. They gained experience in fashion while running the family's business, and in 2002 decided to launch their own line. IRO owes its name to the Japanese word for "color," and the Bitton brothers combine luminous vintage prints with city-chic attitude. Inspired by the trendy, jet-setting crowd, Laurent and Arik have created a sexy, playful, and energetic line of clothing.

Great everyday/versatile jacket!
LOVE LOVE IRO! Was excited to see this go on sale, as had been eyeing it for a while. Fit true to size - I ordered a size 3, and I am a medium-large, size 8-10. I am not wearing it zipped, however, it is a snug fit/zip if I do (large chested). The leather quality and zipper hardware are great - very soft leather, heavy/quality hardware. My only complaint is that the sleeve edge pills very easily and has started to look worn after only 2 wears - I'm still keeping the jacket though, as the softness, versatility, look, and quality are well worth it.
