SHOES!
I am in love with my new boots by alice + olivia! They fit perfect! I have been looking everywhere for fold-over boots and then I finally found them on shopbop.com. I can wear them with colored skinny jeans for an edgy look, or I can wear them with leggings and a dress for a classy look. The black suede material is very sturdy and the zipper just completes these boots. They are also very comfortable. These shoes are amazing! Thank you shopbop.com!

The boots are really cute which is why I was so disappointed! The boot I could get my foot in fit OK but the left boot was manufactured incorrectly and I couldn't even get my foot through the top of the boot. The zipper on the side is not functional and for looks only which is no help when trying to get them on. Returned.... leery of trying again

Really liked them but too small
I was so excited to purchase these boots. When they came in, I ripped open the box. And while I loved the look of them with my skinny jeans. While I am always an 8.5, I needed a 9 which I have never worn that size. Had to return.

Good in theory
I thought these were really cute until I tried to pair them with my skinny jeans. Because of the dramatic color contrast between the tan and really any of my pants, it was too abrupt a transition and I looked kinda like a clydesdale...plus that made my legs look really short and i'm only 5'2" so I can't really spare the optical inches. I think the black would be cute though with black pants since it will be a more gradual transition from boot to leg.
Also - they are narrow. I had ordered a 7 and a 7.5 (i'm usually a 6.5/7) and the 7.5 was the right size for me, but still felt snug.
