I needed long warm socks to wear under skinny jeans and these fit the bill perfectly. They stayed up fine and seem to wash well. On sale, they are an even better deal. Snap them up!

These are average socks to wear under boots. Good price on sale and would recommend buying them!

It's pretty hard to find thigh high socks that are the right size or length or thickness but these are perfect! They stay up and are sooooo warm :)

These thigh high socks are more above the knee socks. Yes, the reach mid thigh, but the ribbing stops. So any skirt you wear with them (to work) must actually reach the knee. Nice color and quality. I definitely have to pull them up when wearing them if I'm walking around much.

How in the world do I get these to stay on?!? They just keep rolling down my legs when I walk. I had to keep hiking them up (which is quite unsightly) and after a while, I just gave up and took them off (and suffered in the cold).

I am 5'2" and am involved with a local Steampunk group. I needed thicker stockings, for a series of costumes. The stockings needed to extend further up the thigh than an over the knee sock would. They will be attached to garters on a 1910's corset to keep the un-boned portion from riding up. (I'm not concerned with them staying up by themselves.) The picture showed a tall skinny-legged model with the thigh-high socks coming to a little lower than mid-thigh so I decided to order the med/lg size. This was definitely the right choice. Also brown seems to be a difficult colour to find to go with brown shoes (for a longer leg look). This product also DOES NOT contain any acrylic, a fibre to which I am allergic. The wool is not coarse and therefore is not itchy. The product fits my needs. If you are looking for a thigh-high and are of short to med stature, then order the med/lg size.
