Founded in 2000, Coclico (French for "poppy flower") Shoes is the creation of Sandra Canselier, a French expatriate living in New York. A native of Brittany, France, Canselier's family has been making shoes for three generations, a background that led Canselier to start her own line and open a boutique in Nolita. Crafted in Spain using sustainable practices, including using vegetable-based dyes, local suppliers, and recycled shoe boxes, Coclico Shoes pair style with comfort for a beautiful, guilt-free aesthetic.

Amazing boots for skinny calves!
I love these boots, they are very high quality, stylish and they actually fit my skinny calves. The 13 inch calf circumference, 16 inch shaft is not accurate on the description, they were both an inch bigger/longer on the size I ordered. I usually wear a 9.5-10 narrow and I got the 40.5 which fit perfect. The boot ankle measurement is 11 inches, calf is 14 inches, boot opening is 15 inches and height is 17 inches. I am 5'11" and slender, my calf measurement is 13.5 inches, ankle is 8.5 inches. They hit right below the knee, I can wear them on my bare legs without looking like galoshes and can also tuck them into skinny jeans.
