Designer
Raised in Portland, jewelry designer Jené DeSpain was encouraged by her craftsman father and artist mother to understand and appreciate fine construction and design. This drew her to a photography career in NY, and after years of being inspired by the talented insiders she worked with, DeSpain made the shift from visual art to tangible artifact, launching Jené DeSpain jewelry in 2010. DeSpain's pieces are graphic and evocative, calling to mind charms of a bygone era reimagined in modern ways.
