Easy dress
This dress fits perfect (aust size 10), ordered size small. It is just so cool and easy to wear......with flats to the beach or heels to dinner. Very happy with it.

Nice maxi
This dress is super comfortable and is a great casual look without looking too drab. with the band at the hip it definitely dramatizes curves. I am a 0-2 and ordered the XS which fit great!

Summer Maxi
I had my sights on this dress for a while and finally decided to splurge. It really is a cute dress, but I honestly thought it was going to be longer. The model in blue is 5"11 (wearing size S) and I am 5"8.5 so I bought the S. I figured that I would be tripping over the bottom, but that isn't the case - in fact, it is almost too short for my liking. There is a bit of a hem on the bottom so I will probably end up lengthening it. Just an FYI for all the tall ladies who like their maxi's long.

I am a huge fan of Soft Joie, but was disappinted with this purchase Like other reviews stated, the band in the middle made the dress unflattering and was somewhat awkward and I had to return it.

Love it!
Very soft and cool fabric, it fits perfectlyexactly as shown on the picture. The elastic band on the waist helps keeping the garment in place and adds to the dress and the figure as well, i think that this detail makes the difference in this dress. It is true that it's slightly see-through but not as much as to be a problem. Absolutely LOVE it!

Love but...
Other reviewers are accurate about the banding in the middle. You kinda have to work with it to figure out where it should best sit, but color and length are perfect. But way worth keeping and wearing. I'm 5'8 and length is perfect with flat sandals.

Joie dress
I really didn't like the middle fabric in the dress...was not flattering and fell in an awkward way.
Couldn't tell it would be that way from the picture. The dress was cute otherwise but had to return.

sheer and odd waist
as a previous reviewer mentioned, there is a large elastic band in the middle of the dress. i could not even figure out where it should lay, it was very awkward. the material is soft and nice but VERY sheer. returned
