Description

Don't like it
It looks great on the model. The shirt is too long and feels hard. I didnt try at all. I just returned it straightaway.

Terrific everyday shirt!
This shirt is perfect for throwing over plain tops for a laidback, breezy look. It is also heavy/thick enough to keep me warm when it gets chilly at night.
For reference, I am 5ft, 103lb and bought an XS for a slightly oversized fit.

Good casual shirt
This shirt is perfect for creating a casual look. Its color is a bit darker than shown, but is very nice. It turned to be a bit wider at waist level than I thought, but it wasn't a problem for me, because I'm going to wear it over a T-shirt. A good everyday piece of clothing.

almsot returned
b/c it's nothing special.... but then realized how many times I run out the door in boots, jeans and "nothing special".... I'll probably wear this more than any cashmere sweater. Great colork great fit, great piece. keep is as a work-a-day staple

Dense
Boufght it as never can find the perfect one. I am too small.
Could not tuck in jeans as shown in the picture as material is great quality and dense. Also it is long. But I love it and it is great with skinny light lilac jeans :-D

Yay Workshirt!
This is another item I bought from Madewell and am reviewing on Shopbop: I've had this shirt for almost a year now and I find that I end up reaching for it fairly frequently as a lightweight layer to wear (I usually wear it open) over just about everything, from jeans to dresses. I'm really partial to how versatile this color is with different denim washes. While it's not as oversized as Madewell's ex-boyfriend chambray, I disagree with the description where it states the silhouette is feminine and scaled-down. I'm not sure what has been scaled down here...although I do wish the sleeves were slightly longer: mine end about where shown on the model but it's a minor pet peeve since I typically wear the sleeves rolled up.
