Beautiful looking black jeans
I've had these now for a while and wanted to get quite a few wears out of them before I did a review,they haven't disappointed , I ordered these in a size 29 as I am that size in the cotton/denim version of j brand jeans, and I must admit - due to the coated fabric-was a bit of struggle at first trying these on but with normal wear,they had become more comfortable and fit nice and snug as they do have that leather look appearance,don't hesitate in buying these,stick to your normal size ,as you don't want these to give out and stretch too much,I'm a 8/10 AUS and 176cm and 55kg.

I love these jeans because you can easily wear them during the day but they are also very nice to go out. I have the light grey J Brand jeans with the zipper on the side as well and compared to these jeans they are a lot smaller! I am a 36 and ordered these in a 28 and the grey ones in a 26.

Love J brand jeans!! These are fantastic jeans, the reviews are right - they aren't as shiny in person however I actually quite like that as the sheen is subtle and not in your face! They are firm but give when you put them on. I purchased the 24 and am very happy as they don't slide down as the day goes on. Also the pockets on the front are false which is fantastic as you don't get that horrible line on your thigh from the pocket lining. Another great pair of J Brands, highly recommend.

Luv these Jeans...
I luv the way they fit. Super slimming and stretchy. Perhaps I need to do more sit ups to tone up my tummy. But these jeans are way kewl w the coat. Not too much shiny but enough. I had to size up to a 27. I am normally a 26 in most jeans. I'm 5'8 and about 135lbs so if that helps any of you pick a sz. I also wear a size 2-4. I have a more slender athletic body type. A good staple to have in your closet!

Coating won't last!!
Very nice before the first wash (hand wash in cold water), but lost all the coating as a result. Very disappointing! Now just a regular pair of black jeans. Not worth the money.

I really wanted a pair of black jeans with a shimmy look, but these don't have much of a sheen in person, despite the wax coating - which looks like it would probably come off in a wear or two, so I returned them. Additionally, the fit was strange. J Brands are usually my favorite and look fine even if they are a couple cm too long, but this pair was extra stiff and the material around my ankles and calves just looked bunchy and weird.

i really wanted a dressier pair of black straight leg jeans and these are perfection. they have that perfect leathery look, not too shiny, fit the way other 26s have fit me, the fabric has stretch which makes them easier to get in and out of and more comfortable to wear. i had to alter the length because i am 5'2" but that is not unexpected for me. love them!!
