Designer
Inspired by lingerie, late nights, and literature, the Elkin clothing line was created by Los Angeles sisters Brit and Kara Smith. Brit has long had a love affair with lingerie and Kara has long had a habit of staying out late and falling asleep in her clothes. Combining these elements, Elkin was born - a versatile collection of everyday apparel inspired by bedtime fashion. For each piece sold, a children's book is donated through HOPE Campaign, as a tribute to the sisters' lifelong love of reading.

Doesn't hang well
This blouse was as pictured in terms of degree of sheer, color, fit.. however the pleating in both the front and back caused the blouse to balloon out - the side view makes you look pregnant or huge. I tried ironing down the pleats but that didn't work. The fabric is too light to allow the blouse to hang right. A weightier fabric would have made this a great piece. Sending it back :(

Love it but poor workmanship
I am 5"7 and I bought a size small. It fits me perfectly but both sides have needed to be repaired just under the arm and down that seam. The stitching gave way really easily. I love the top so am going to keep it but it seems to be a design flaw reading the other reviews. Colour was as per the picture for me. I would give the top 5 stars if it hadn't ripped down the seams...

Cute
This top looked super cute in the picture. However when I received it the colour was not as expected and the top seemed quite transparent. The cut also did not suit me (I have a bigger bust). This top would looked fabulous on a petite frame - as per the picture.

Beautiful looking but poor construction
I ordered this top because it looked so pretty. When I opened the bag I was not disappointed. It really is a gorgeous cut and colour and the fabric is so soft.
However, there was a hole in a seam which was irrepairable. It was also slightly tight across my shoulders. I am a petite build and always an XS, but this was just not comfortable.
Shopbop were fantastic with my return. They accepted it no questions asks and facilitated the return from Australia. Thank you again Shopbop!!!

Poorly Fabricated
I gave this blouse one star because it tore three inches at the back shoulder seam the first time I wore it! It's a shame, as the design is adorable and the fabric drapes beautifully. I'm going to attempt to get it fixed, but a $230 blouse should be better fabricated.

Cute blouse
I love the look and fit of this blouse. Purchased the XS which fits perfectly. I gave this blouse 3 stars because the colour is slightly different (it's more nude than pinky), fabric is ok and the sewing worksmanship looks cheap. I really want to keep this top but not sure if it's worth the $$$$
