Designer

Funktional was launched in 2009 by Los Angeles-based designer Jennifer Park. After graduating with an Economics degree, Park pursued her passion for apparel at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. After graduation, she honed her skills designing for several brands and soon created Funktional clothing, her own line for women who demand modern styling, refined details, and high-quality fabrics.

Lovely zip detail
I really like the material of these shorts; so soft, comfortable, and not transparent/translucent at all (I'm usually worried that such shorts will be too thin and translucent but these aren't). The exposed zip with neon green detailing is really pretty too. With all that being said, I only gave them an average rating because the fit of the shorts are much longer on me than on the model (I'm just half an inch shorter). It might be due to the difference in size (I'm not sure) but they are still great shorts which are so different from the usually lace/crochet shorts i always see around.
