Designer
Funktional was launched in 2009 by Los Angeles-based designer Jennifer Park. After graduating with an Economics degree, Park pursued her passion for apparel at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. After graduation, she honed her skills designing for several brands and soon created Funktional clothing, her own line for women who demand modern styling, refined details, and high-quality fabrics.

Funk-tastic
I am generally an S and the S size of this dress fitted well.
The dress looks as lose as it does on the model - and i like it like that! The material is heavy but it is adds to the structure of the dress. Overall, i am really happy with this dress!

Love this dress
This is a great summer dress. The neon yellow zip provides a nice point of difference to other summer dresses that are out there. I am an Aus size 10/12 and the M fitted perfectly.

Unflattering cut, rigid fabric
I ordered the dress in white in XS. The eyelets on the dress are very pretty, but I decided that the dress isn't worth keeping.
The dress was very tight in the chest area, and the lining was too low.
The material was not soft and flowy, so the dress looks very rigid. That is not how I wanted the dress to look.
The zipper was also hard to pull up. It kept getting stuck.

Beautiful
I bought this dress in black. This dress is really beautiful looking, and the fabric was as expected. I didn't find it too heavy. Great cut and fit. Love the neon zip.

So sorry this dress didn't work out
I immediately loved this dress when I saw the photo - especially the neon zipper on the white one. I bought the dress in both colors hoping it would be my perfect summer LBD and LWD! Sadly, the lace fabric is stiff and much thicker than I expected, so the dress doesn't lay nicely at all. For such a tiny dress, it weighs alot! The layers of lining and thick lace make it bulky somehow. The bodice is very structured and not flattering for my bustline (34 DD). The underarm holes are a design feature on the dress so if you have any braline or underarm issues, they will only be highlighted by the cut of the dress.
Really wanting this dress to work, I tried and tried to make it work but it just wasn't flattering on me at all. Too bad!

Amazing dress!!
I loved the look of this dress when I saw it on another website where I think they did a better job of styling the model and putting her in a better fitting size. I got the medium and in BLACK. I am curvy with hips and boobs and this dress looks fantastic if I may say so. It's a flattering cut for anyone and the zipper just takes it to another level. Can't wait to wear this dress out!!
