Perfect Boots!
I ended up going down a 1/2 a size for these boots, as they tend to run a little big. I love them and they get a lot of use. Each time I've worn them complete strangers tell me how cute the boots are. I highly recommend them!

I usually buy shoes a half size larger, for comfort. But this time I got one size larger boots than expected..
Nevertheless, these shoes are so beautiful and comfortable that I will wear them with pleasure, even in larger size.

Good boots
These boots are very distinctive and they look so much better than just plain black boots bc of the laces and the side buckles. However, the heel measurements are slightly off; the heel is 5.5in high, and the platform is 1.5in, so an actual 4in heel. I know its a small difference, but when you plan to walk a lot, the shorter the heel the better, so I was a bit disappointed that these are so tall. They are still comfortable, but I do anticipate that I will be rubbing the balls of my feet after wearing these for a day.... About the sizing, some other reviews mention they run large, but I found they run true to size (I am a size 9 and have narrow feet), but just roomy enough to wear socks, so I would recommend buying your normal size. I haven't had an issue with the color coming off onto my hands.

great boots
I really like these boots. They are very stylish, just what I was looking for. I thought I wasn't going to be able to walk in them because of the very high heel but the platform makes it really easy. You can't go wrong with Sam Edelman shoes.

If you want black hands
I really wanted to love these shoes. They look great and are reasonably priced. Now they fit well, a little big, but comfortable BUT the dye came off of the suede and made my hands black! I don't even want to see what they're going to do to my jeans. Sadly, these are going back.

Found a bit large
I wear 8.5 and purchased 8.5 and they were too big. Unless you have wide feet you may want to consider going down a half size.
