This dress was 1 of 2 dress I purchased from this designer. Unfortunately the slits in the front looked more odd than sexy. I gave it 4 stars because the material is beautiful and it was made very well. I just have a problem with that style on my body.

I purchased an Olcay Gulsen skirt and tank in the same silk material of this dress last Fall and I wore the skirt so many times so despite the cost of the dress, I knew it would be a great investment piece. This designer does "timeless" so well and if you buy an item that is a solid color, like this dress, it will surely wear beautifully across many years. I ordered this dress to wear to a cocktail party. I've only tried it on, but it fits like a glove (I'm 5'10, 144 lbs, 34C, 27.5" waist; I ordered a large), and the color is sumptious. It's slightly "peachier" in-person than in the photo, but it's just as gorgeous against my pale skin as it is against the more olive tone complexion of the photo model. Without question the slits on this dress are way too high (so 4, not five stars) so this is going to the tailor to add two inches of closure to each slit. I'm pairing with nude Jimmy Choo heels. I can already tell this dress is going to be in heavy rotation in my spring/summer wardrobe
