Great from the front
I find these jeans flatten my butt. Not a great look. I think it must be the material. I usually stick to jeans that are ninety -something percent cotton and some elastic material. These have polyester. They look great from the front as leggings but not so great on the butt. Possibly why, in retrospect, the model in the video is wearing a longer top. If you have an awesome butt you could get away with these but for anyone with a less than awe inspiring butt they are not the most flattering. That being said, I do like them. They are comfy and who knows maybe if I work on my butt and with wear, they'll look better? For now I'll probably wear then with a long cardigan. Shame, as I wouldn't have guessed this from the other reviews.

glad I listened to my fellow Shopboppers on this one. these really are amazing! and for $114, you really can't beat that price. I'm 5'2 and 110 lbs, 26 fits true to size. they're a little long for me, I currently have them rolled up at the bottom.
they are so comfortable and stretch out sooo nicely and are especially comfortable on the stomach area. I usually wear COH or J Brand but I'm looking forward to purchasing more James in the future.

They are very comfortable to wear. I tend to wear them during the day and save my more flattering, DL1961 legging jeans for night. They don't look like jeggings. They look like denim jeans. Great staple skinny jeans to have in your wardrobe.

So happy with these. Love the mid rise and stretchy denim. I thought they were black jeans from the pic but they are just very dark denim which I love. Nice quality.

I just got my jeans yesterday!! I'm so happpy with it!! Love the fit and material!!!! It's well made and I love the shape adn made me look skinnier!! The reviews are very helpful, I ordered 1 size smaller. I'm getting the grey one!!

Tons of Compliments
These jeans are awesome. I get a ton of compliments on them. They are super stretchy and a thin denim. The waist does dig in a bit, but maybe that's just my body shape. I don't know if I could have gone bigger though, they might have been big in the legs. I'm 5'1", around 122 lbs. I took a size 26 and am usually a 27 in JBrands/True Religion/Citizens, a 26 in Sevens. The length was actually pretty good on me too - no hemming needed.

Nice colour but......
I had a problem with the fitting around the posterior. It fits fine but flattens my behind and has big pockets compared to other brands (J Brand/Citizens of humanity). I wear 25 in all jeans but this particular one didn't do any justice for my backside.
They're nice at the front/ colour's great and fits well - everything great except the bum. Not the perfect pair I have to say. The pockets were a bit larger for my liking and gave me a flattish behind. Will be returning these.

Best denim brand out there
These jeans are comfy and flattering, fit is great for petite frame (at 5' height - although it is a little long, it still looks fine scrunched at the ankle). Love the dark wash.
