Great boots but quite narrow.
I'm very satisfied with these boots. They are very stylish with the glazed leather. Even though I have a wide ankle and a high instep so they run quite narrow to me,still I like them.

Disappointing
These boots ran really small. I am typically a size 6.5-7, and the 7's were much too small. The calves were also extremely tight, and generally just awkwardly fitting. The shaft was less stiff than the picture makes them to seem, and they slouched. Furthermore, the height of the shaft was too high, and ran to the middle of my knee. In the end, I had to return them.

I am so sad these didn't work. Out of the box I was sooooo excited they were beautiful. However the fit is bad. I'm 5'8 and these boots hit my knee in an awkward spot. The biggest reason why these are going back is because how much they bunch around the ankle. It's not a clean looking boot on. I tried to make them work but honestly for $300 just not worth it. These boots are going back :(

Chic boots made for walking
Sturdy, stylish boots. If you're a city girl who gets around town walking and catching trains and buses, this is a great boot. It's high enough where most knee length skirts will meet and/or cover the top of the boot (if that's your thing, I like clean lines and don't like large breaks unless I'm wearing a mini and even then my boots will be ankle or bootie-style). Please also note that the boot is high enough that it bends back at the back of the knee. The shaft is split at the back of the knee with an elastic inset; if you think you will be bothered by having to break in the back of the boot at the knee, don't get them. These boots hit directly at the bottom of the knee -- and I have long legs. I did not find the shaft too tight either, and I'm a runner with toned, muscular calves. Also keep in mind the elastic inset, so unless you do crazy-heavy lifts with your legs, you shouldn't have a problem in my opinion. I plan on wearing these boots mostly with skirts and dresses.

Gorgeous!
These boots are amazing in person, completely on trend with the western influence and clean lines... They look like they could fit in the Gucci Pre-Fall line. However... I am not a big woman. I am a size 6 with muscular legs and these are WAY too small for my calves, they go up but almost cut off my circulation... I love them soooo much so I'm going to have to take them to a shoe repair to get them stretched because I am so in love... but if you have remotely muscular/large calves these are NOT for you... I'm a size 6 for christ's sake. Whatever, Sam Edelman and I have an understanding with each other because his past 3 seasons have been AMAZING. Okay I'm done.
