In 2011, he launched his diffusion line, 10 Crosby Derek Lam. Named after the location of his first store and headquarters, the line is inspired by the cool, downtown New York girls the designer spots in the neighborhood.

Pretty fabric, unflattering design
I love the stripes, the colors, the lightweight material, but man this skirt looked baaaad on me. It has poorly positioned pockets that combined with the pleats made my hips and butt look enormous. Like I was wearing a diaper underneath or something. I am not a stick figure but I have an athletic body type and normally this is not an issue for me. I wanted to love it, but it looked awful and I consider $325 to be a lot to spend on a statement skirt that will probably feel like old news by May.

beautiful fabric but....
Everyone thought this was a flattering skirt on me but I don't think so.... Fabulous color and fabric but this flirty high waisted skirt made me look 10 lbs heavier! I think it's the pockets. I returned it because of the price tag otherwise I might have kept it.Too bad I just wish the cut would be midrise.... If you are tall and very skinny than I recommend this skirt!
