Strands of lamé mingle with nubby bouclé yarns, creating a unique blend of textures on a tweed blazer. Notched lapels accent the placket, which closes with transparent buttons. Welt hip pockets and long sleeves. Lined.
Fabric: Metallic bouclé tweed.

Designer
Inspired by lingerie, late nights, and literature, the Elkin clothing line was created by Los Angeles sisters Brit and Kara Smith. Brit has long had a love affair with lingerie and Kara has long had a habit of staying out late and falling asleep in her clothes. Combining these elements, Elkin was born - a versatile collection of everyday apparel inspired by bedtime fashion. For each piece sold, a children's book is donated through HOPE Campaign, as a tribute to the sisters' lifelong love of reading.

very pretty blazer
after reading the other reviews, i sized up (normally a US 6, so took an 8), and am glad i did - arms are definitely a bit tight relative to the rest of the jacket. the blazer is cut a tiny bit on the boxy side, which gives it a bit of an edgier look. fabric is quite sparkly, very pretty.

The fit of the jacket is odd, the shoulders were on the narrow side and the forearm area I found to be a bit tight and ill-fitting. However, I love the color. For the price, and the quality - it's not worth it.

Wonderful, but small arms
I adore this jacket!!! It is beautiful and versatile and my biggest problem with it is wearing it too often! I am a 6'0" slender woman so I ordered my usual size 6. It fit everywhere except the arms and shoulders, I had no movement in that area without seeming like they arms might rip off. So I upped to a size 8...still fits overall the arms are a little looser but still very tight, but I put up with it because the jacket is so irresistible otherwise.

Very cool
This jacket is gorgeous. The quality is great and the material is actually a bit shiny/metallic so you can definitely dress it up/ down. I agree with the previous comment re size. I went a size up (normally an Au 8) and the sleeves are still very snug.

Elkin Stellar Jacket
I had really high expectations for this jacket. I first ordered my usual size, which was way too small. I then ordered a size up, which fit everywhere except the sleeves. I'm not sure if it was the stiffness of the fabric, but it was too uncomfortable to move around in. It's too bad because it was a beautiful jacket.
