Shoshanna Ocean Bandeau Bikini Top

Description

A bandeau bikini top from Shoshanna, designed with boning and underwire construction for extra support. A metal ring shines between the ruched cups. A hook-and-eye closes the back, and the detachable straps tie behind the neck. Lined.

Shell: 80% nylon/20% spandex.
Lining: 95% polyester/5% spandex.
Hand wash.
Made in the USA.
Bottoms sold separately.

Designer

Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss launched her collection in 1998 because she was unable to find wearable, beautiful clothes for her body type. "I could never find a halter dress or strapless top that offered support for women who usually need to wear a bra," she says. Shoshanna Swimwear followed in 2001, and gave women with curves a new outlook on buying a bikini. Sold as separates, Shoshanna Swimwear features tops and bottoms that offer support without sacrificing the sexiness every bikini should embody.

Disappointed
This bikini top is a beautiful colour and it fits perfectly. That being said, I wore it a grand total of 2 times before the under wire started to push out of the fabric and stab into my skin. I ended up having to just pull the under wire out completely on both sides. I would expect much better quality from a bikini top that cost over $100. Very disappointing. I probably won't be buying anything from Shoshanna again.
