Description

Smocked silk chiffon effects a flattering crushed texture on an ultra-modern iteration of the little black dress from Alexander Wang. A sheer chiffon panel constructs the back yoke, while ruched chiffon panels are a sexy sheer accent along the long sleeves. Mesh lining.

Fabric: Smocked silk chiffon.
Shell: 100% silk.
Trim: 95% silk/5% spandex.
Lining: 83% nylon/17% polyurethane.
Dry clean.

Designer

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.
