Small
I ordered one size up and these were still smaller than I expected. It was my first time trying James Jeans, so maybe they're always like that (?). Anyway, I returned them and did not get another size, because they were a lot stretchier than I expected and too much like leggings material.

Perfect fit
These jeans were better than expected. Very stretchy but definitely a jean and not legging-like. Very comfortable and just the right amount of flare making an elegant look rather than 'hippie'. Rise is a bit higher than average which is flattering. Colour is also very nice and dark - all in all a very versatile jean.
