This jeans is not good for me, and not skinny at all. So I chose to return it.

smaller than I would have liked
Jbrand tends to run smaller than expected (in some styles) like this one. The fit is flattering, I just wished it had real front pockets.

Fabric too thin, fit not thin enough
I wear Jbrand in 28 in regular styles of jeans, and 27 in the Maria high rise legging jean. Thought these would be a great style, just like the Maria, and bought them instead of the Maria's because they seemed to repel pet hair more. I bought these in 28 thinking they would fit like a regular Jbrand jean style.
Good news - these skinnies don't really attract pet hair. Bad news - the crotch area was fairly frumpy/baggy, but yet the perfect tightness in the leg. Returned.

Pleasantly pleased by colour surprise.
First of all, the colour is not what I had expected, yet I like this colour. It is a deep burnt green, for lack of a better description. It pairs well with browns, blacks, and everything in between, even looks nice with the jewel tones I have in my closet. Putting them on for the first time, was like putting on your favorite old pair, that feel like they belong on your body. They did get some minor bagging in the knees after the first wearing of about eight hours. The rear end held up well, so I will keep them. The front pockets are faux, which give a nice clean line and the rise is perfect for me, not too high, but not so low that my back side is trying to escape. I am typically between sizes in most jeans, and tend to size up with jbrand, but I think one could go with the smaller size, if they find themselves in this same predicament. Especially if they have lean thighs and buttocks.

Not worth the RRP
These are nice pants, but not great and the fabric is really thin. I kept them as they still fit well, but after a few wears were bagging in all the wrong places. I've never had a dud purchase from J. Brand before - I'm gutted! And the colour is more green than black, which is a bummer.
