Designer
Husband and wife team Jesse and Carly Burnett launched TKEES in 2009, aiming to create effortless sandals that “disappear” on the wearer. Branded as “cosmetics for your feet,” TKEES shoes began with a line called Foundations, later joined by Liners, Glosses, and other cosmetics-themed styles in colors that complement any skin tone and any outfit. Gorgeous color, but color rubs off quick
I got these in size 8 and they were perfect - heard from sales associates in other stores carrying TKEES to size up but it wouldn't have fit as perfectly as my true size did.
I loved these a lot last summer - it's a champagney-pinkish peach color which slightly dressed up really casual outfits and even worked with my night outfits. HOWEVER, and this is a considerable complaint, the color rubs off rather quickly against the bottom of your feet and in about a month these sandals just looked unappealing. The construction of TKEES is solid - I continued wearing these casually around the home for a few more months and they didn't start breaking apart or anything. I might still look into purchasing TKEES but only the ones that are coated in vinyl/plastic (a good example are the black TKEES) because for $48 I'd like them to look good for more than 6 months.

Comfy
I like TKEES thong sandals because they are the most comfortable sandals for a narrow foot I've ever worn.
However, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the leather. It's thin and poorly coloured. It only took me a day of walking in Havana to discover the colour on the footbed came off.

Tkees get 5 stars definitely - they are GREAT sandals. I had to give these a lower rating only because of the color- - they are definitely shiny dark brass colored. I put them right back in the box to send back. If that is the color you want though, the sandals themselves are great- I have another pair in another color, and I am definitely buying more. Order your true size. I wear size 8 as smallest in any shoe and size 9 as largest with the varying styles and various designers, and these fit great in a size 8.

I really like TKEES thongs. They are extremely comfortable and come in such beautiful colours.
Glosses are my fav however because the sole that your foot sits on. does not discolour.

I bought my first pair (a black "liners" pair) last year before a weekend trip to NYC. I knew I was going to be walking a lot and it was going to be hot. These sandals were more comfortable than any other sandal that I wore that weekend, and I made it back to my hotel after 6+ hrs of walking nonstop to little to no pain and discomfort. Normally my feet are sensitive to any shoe/sandal, and I always get blisters. They fit my foot like a glove, not once gave me a blister, and were surprisingly cushioned enough to pound the pavement. I had been looking for a second pair and as soon as I saw these on the site I snatched them up. I love the rose gold color! I had a minor problem with the original pair that I received and customer support was excellent in sending a exchange pair. I love these sandals and would highly recommend them!

So adorable!
I love these! I received my TKEES today and I know ill be wearing these sandals quite a lot. They are true to size and comfy and the style is very cute and simple. My favourite part is the colour, that will compliment a summer tan extremely well!
