lovely take on the LBD
Took a punt and bought this for a 'glitz and glamour' party. After reading the reviews ordered my normal size (Aust size 10), size M, and it was a good fit. The ruching at the sides makes it forgiving and very flattering. I was a little worried it might be too tight across my shoulders, as I'm quite an athletic build, but it was perfect. Love the neckline and the length.

Dress is very well made, elegant. I am 5'5, 120pounds, 34D and bought a small, it fits great, but i could have gone XS if the small was out.

Gorgeous
Never written a review for shopbop but just had to. This dress is beautiful. I'm 5'6, 55Kg and bought an S. This dress fits true to size and hugs the body in all the right places. The sequin material is elegant and not too flashy. Especially great if you have a small bust since it gives you a slender but sexy look. Got complimented on the dress all night long :)

Flattering, suits broad shoulders
I saw a review which said these sizes run small, but they don't - they run large.
I ended up getting (after initially ordering a S which was too roomy) an XS, and I am an Australian size 8-10.
The fall of the fabric is very flattering, especially with the seam pleats.
I have narrow shoulders and top half of the dress swam on me a bit; - definitely for women with broader shoulders or who are bustier.
And yes, it is warm to wear!

Beautiful Cocktail Dress
This dress is well made and great for a glamorous night out! I'm 5' 5, 108 lbs and found this dress in XS to be true to size (I looked at the fit guide on the Parker site for reference). The dress is form fitting, but has a good amount of stretch, so it's not too confining, and the ruching is flattering as well as forgiving. The sequins catch the light beautifully and don't irritate my skin.
I would have to agree with a previous reviewer: The dress is very warm, so I would keep this in mind if you're considering this dress for a specific event. The zipper might catch on the sequins if you're not careful, but this isn't a problem personally.
All in all, I'm very happy and would highly recommend this dress!

Parker Dress
Pretty on the outside but---the material makes this dress very warm to wear. It may work if you live in the North Pole. Also, the zipper kept getting stuck in the material. Lastly, it won't work if you are a bit "chesty."

Hugs in all the right places
Beautiful dress that's sexy and chic. Form fitting but ruches are forgiving. Well made dress; sequins are not irritating to skin.
