Description
VIKTOR & ROLF reinvent the modern trench, cutting this voluminous, feminine coat from crisp seersucker. The fold-over collar lends a tailored edge to the silhouette, and hidden buttons fasten the placket. On-seam pockets hide at the hips, and the optional self-belt can be tied or buckled to define the waist. The full skirt falls in structured folds to the hem, and sharp knife pleats detail the shoulders and buttoned cuffs, which can be worn at the forearm for a hit of extra volume.
Fabric: Crisp seersucker.
Shell: 100% polyester.
Lining: 52% cupro/48% viscose.
Dry clean.

Designer
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren were studying at Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in The Netherlands when they began working together. After relocating to Paris in 1993 and focusing on couture, they grabbed the attention of the fashion world and beyond by experimenting with scale and presentation. The unorthodox nature of their designs merged apparel and art, bringing VIKTOR & ROLF to the forefront of high fashion. In 2009 they received Dutch fashion's highest distinction, the MODINT Grand Seigneur award.
