As others have said, comfy and soft, but you will constantly be tugging at it in a constant war to keep it from bunching up around your waist.

It's more yellowish white than I expected.. I cannot wear it by itself, it's too underwear-looking by itself and it rides up when I walk.. but I can overlook that because it looks really good with layers

Excellent investment piece
Perfect undergarment! Great fit, extremely flattering - even alone as a slip. These slips are one of the best investment pieces I've ever purchased. I've worn both the black and ivory under several tunics and dresses. They are stretchy enough to shorten or lengthen to accommodate. Highly recommend!

i purchased this to wear under some of my sheer/lighweight dresses. it gets the job done, but the slip does ride up and I do find myself pulling it down throughout the day.

Overall a good slip
I am constantly looking for a slip that is more fitting and slightly longer in length compared to other slips yet not tight like a shapewear. This black slip from Free People works for me. Love how its not too thick and feels soft and comfortable, the price is acceptable and I am thinking of buying them in other colors as well and a few extras. Was keeping my fingers crossed that it won't ride up and it sure does not dissapoint me at all, probably because I have a fuller hips so it stays on. (hip measurements at 38" and bought a xs/s)

I usually wear size XS. I wore this slip on underneath a loose dress. In a short while, it roll up all the way to the waist! Faster if I walk. When I take a careful look at the design, I realize it is practically straight cut. I think that is the reason why it keeps rolling up.

Good Slip
This slip is perfect to wear under shear dresses. It's form fitting, you can sort of hike it up and wear it short or keep it long. Fits true to size.
