Description
Accented with variegated coloring, scuff marks, and striations, these leather boots have a rugged appeal. The shaft is lighter with varied dark spots, and the foot has a well-worn look. A slim buckled strap wraps around the top of the seamed shaft, which closes with an extended, exposed back zip. Stacked heel and leather sole.

Ash boots
I'm normally a 7-7.5 and bought the size 7.5. They fit perfectly with semi-thick socks. the silhouette is similar to hunter gumboots, but in rich pebble leather form. This makes walking easy and comfortable. These shoes were the best value for money as I have been trying on more expensive boots but lesser quality. The leather is beautiful and will look even better with age. The opening circumference is perfect - snug but not tight. I wanted an everyday boot and these are one of my best buys yet. I love the classic utilitarian look of these with subtle features such as the stitching at the toes and the slight distressing. I don't want to take them off! I am very happy with them!!

Amazing boots!
The fit is great, the style can be worn with skinny jeans and looks cute with a midi skirt. They are durable and comfortable, feel like they will last for years. I'm really happy with these boots!

Marvellous !
I've just got my ASH equestrian boots this evening. I felt very upset because the delivery conditions were dreadful and finally to get them I had to go to DHL correspondant near my town but when I opened the parcel and tried the boots on, I didn't feel anger any more. I felt so good at once and they look so special and beautiful. Usually I am not very fond of boots, I prefer short ones but these ASH are simply perfect and thank Shopbop I found them for my tiny feet (35) and this is not easy at all !! I have several ASH shoes and feel very happy about all of them. VERY HAPPY !!!

Order the size you usually wear
After reading reviews on this shoe from multiple websites, I ordered 3 different sizes to assure I got the right pair that fit! My calves are about 15" and I am 5 '7 about 135 lbs. I usually wear a size 9, and so I ordered a 39 which is the size conversion in ASH boots. The size 39 fit the best. The toe was slightly large (about 1/2 inch too big- but not overly huge), but if I went down a half size the top of the boot over the top of my foot was very snug. I usually wear a reg. width and have average arches. The calf of the boot in the size 39 left about an inch of extra room around the top with jeans on and fell right below my knee(higher than most knee high boots). The size 38.5- (only a 1/2 size smaller) the calf of the boot was tight (still fit but no extra room), the top of theboot over the top of my foot was VERY snug, and they were over an inch shorter below my knee than the 39! The 39.5's were way too big. Great quality and not the Frye boots that everyone else will have!

Gorgeous boots
I've had my eye on these boots for over a year and finally splurged.
Everything I expected: quality and they look great with jeans, tights, skirts, knit socks, etc. I'm 5'8" 120lbs with slimmer legs so the fit around the calves are perfect for me!
-1 star for fitting and comfort: I wear 6.5/7 and tried on both sizes. The 36.5 are tight on the toes but loose around the heel so my heel slides around a bit which makes them sore at the end of the day. The 37 were still tight on the toes and very tight around the heel which made them feel smaller than the 6.5. I did not try 37.5... good thing shopbop offers free shipping but I became impatient and settled for the 36.5... I feel the sizing is very inconsistent and if anything runs smaller.

Great Boots
I have been wanting these boots for quite a while. I finally made the purchase. They were worth it.
- I wear an 8.5 or size 9, depending on the shoe - the 39 was a great fit
- I am 5'4.5",athletic and have strong calves, they were a great fit
- the quality of the leather is also great - when I pulled them out of the box, they smelled amazing and were well oiled
- the colour is true to size
- I just wore them in the rain today, they held up really well - perfectly dry warm feet
- versatile; I have worn them with a dress, leggings and jeans
- I have gotten so many compliments on them - I have had them for almost 1 week
- they are very comfortable and I am extremely pleased with this purchase - I intend to keep them conditioned and I know they will last!
