Love These!!
These boots are exactly what I hoped they would be. They fit me very well (short with larger calfs). The leather looks so nice and and I love the tabs on the sides. My only complaint is that I was debating between 6.5 and 7, and wish I'd gone for the larger size since the toes are very narrow, and I don't think I will be able to wear thick socks with these, but I still love them!

extended calf
Just received these boots today in the mail. They are pretty good for the price. I originally bought them due to the other 2 reviews where it said that the calf of this boot is too large. I myself have large calves and figured it would be perfect. Ant it is! Size wise, I'm usually in-between 6.5 and 7, bought these in size 6.5 and couldn't be happier. I give these boots 5 stars, but if you have regular calves or small calves these will definitely be too large on you.

Huge disappointment
These boots are the epitome of "almost but not quite." They are so close to being fabulous, but then they just fail out on things so vital that the boots are ruined. First, as pointed out by the other reviewer, the calf is HUGE (like bigger than my Hunter Wellingtons huge), so the boots smacked against the back of my calf when I walked, which neither looked or sounded good! Also, the sole is cheap and slippery, so you'll bail on carpet or any other smooth surface. Anyway, don't waste your money on an "almost but not quite" and save up to buy the Tory Burch riding boots instead - they're the opposite side of the "you get what you pay for" coin!

Not for small legs
The size of the shaft coupled with the oblique cut at the top makes these look like huge Welllington rubber boots on me, and not in a good way. I'm 5'9"/125/9.5. If you have small calves, don't bother trying them on. Also, I was disappointed by the material. I expected the leather to be more supple than it was. These boots might look cute on a petite/curvy silhouette.
