I'm about 5'1 and weigh 100 pounds with a petite but still athletic physique and these boots fit around my calves just well enough that they are not tight but still not too loose (which is very hard for me to find in a boot). The suede is very good quality and the color is a pure black, much more vibrant than I have noticed from a lot of other boots. Like other people I also agree that the ability to control the slouchiness is great, for my height I can wear them just above the knee but I can also scrunch them down. They are a tad tricky to walk around in at first but you definitely get the hang of it. I agree the fit is a little different than most boots but I did not find it as awkward at all as another reviewer. The size was also perfect, I have never been higher than a size 7 and I am glad I stuck with my size. The only downside is the side profile of these boots, its a little weird looking but not enough for me to care b/c everything else about them is awesome!

I finally purchased these boots with NO regrets. They are beautiful, comfortable and well made. I also get tons of compliments. I have larger calves and was a bit worried about these being too tight, but they are perfect and work with or without jeans. You can also control the amount of slouchiness. I highly recommend them.

Beautiful suede boot. Perfect wedge and surprisingly comfortable! Ran a little smaller than I expected, but should have known that with socks I would need to order 1/2 size up. Only complaint is that with thin leggings and bare legs they then to scrunch down. Wish they went right above the knee instead of below. A chic boot I plan to wear all winter long!

I absolutely love these boots! I am usually in between 5 and 5.5. Super tight first time you put them on but I kept the 5.5 but feel like they are starting to stretch out and are almost big even with socks. They fit kind of strange in the back of the heel which makes it feel too big. The sizing is right but awkward. They are super cute though so i don't care.

I fell in love with these boots when I saw them and just had to have them! I always order half a size up when i purchase boots and did the same in this case -- i ordered a 8.5 even though I am usually an 8. However, as beautiful as these lovely boots are (and were in person) they were still too small. The shaft of the boots was so difficult to get over my calves! I have normal size calves and have never had a problem with boots not fitting. It was too bad because they really are such beautiful boots.

These shoes are very chic. Design is very exact - shoes look very bohemian, knee-high.They are loose on the top, very comfortable. Suede is slightly distressed. But I noted that when wearing them on bare legs (with jeans mini skirt for example) they color skin (feet ans shanks) quite a lot. If you take off these shoes when not at home it can be embarrasing.
