Great basic maxi
Love this maxi. I got it in black (which is not see-through at all). Can be easily dressed up or down. Sizing was a little weird. I'm normally a size small in everything, but I ordered a small and extra small to try on because the reviews indicated it might run large -- and I'm going to with the extra small. The extra small, on me, was more fitted and looked more true to the model in the picture. If you want it with a little bit more room and not very tight, I would just order your normal size. I'm happy for what I got with the price.

I like wearing this layered with cardis, or with tops - it's very soft and comfortable, though I have it in the nude colour and it's a bit see-through (but not extremely).

this is the best basic dress ever! a closet staple. so flattering and incredibly comfortable. i wish they sold in every color. i would buy every one!!

Too much stretch, long straps
Whilst I liked the cut of this dress, I found the straps to be very long because I have a shorter midriff. I am normally a US4 top and US6 bottom. I love black, but this was overwhelming on me. I ended up getting an Edith Miller black & white stripe dress in a very similar style, which looked much better on due to the colour variation.

Can't wait to wear this dress on my upcoming beach vacation. I will probably live in it all summer long too!! Very versatile piece and the price is right. I wish it came in more colors. I'm thinking the lighter color would be too see through......

Great summer staple
Good quality (not see-through). I'm the same height and approximately the same measurements as the model described in the size guide. I ordered a size up (a medium) for a slightly more relaxed fit, however it still came up a little tighter than I expected. Nice, flattering cut though. A great basic for summer, good for layering or accessorising with a statement necklace.

I ordered this Splendid dress and the other one which is similar but not ribbed. I like this. For $66, I can deal with the fact it's see through. The other one, not so much.

Perfect maxidress
I marked it as smaller than expected bc I thought I would have to take it to the tailor for alterations and hemming, and did not. I am short (5 feet) and the XS it hits the floor and is very form fitting. The black color is not sheer. This is a fantastic year round basic.

Sexy while comfortable
I just love this dress, and for the price will purchase in another color. I am 110 pounds and 5'3 tall. I ordered the size XS and it fit perfectly. It is a form fitting dress like it appears on the model, but not uncomfortably tight. I spent Thanksgiving in Texas where the temperatures stayed in the mid-70's. I wore this dress Thanksgiving Day because my family tends to be very casual during our get togethers. Although very laid back I still felt stylish and received tons of compliments. I love the soft fabric. Highly recommend. You cannot go wrong for the price!
