Designer
Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, designers of the fine jewelry line Ruby Kobo, wanted to create a second collection that was more casual but still retained the quality of their high-end designs. Shashi jewelry was born. Alpert and Kobo were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolize friendship, love, and good luck. As a result, each Shashi design evokes emotion and sentimentality.

it's a beautiful bracelet. I brought spinel, so it goes great with anything.
I am a little disappointed, after my 4-5th wear, it snapped in the middle (where the gold bead separates the stones 1 by 1) as I was taking it off for a shower. I was pulling it loose by the ties at the end. For the price, I expected something a little more durable.

hmm...i returned -maybe it would stretch out after wear, maybe not...i have small wrists and for $80 i would rather a yes feeling than a maybe...enough said...

lovely but broke
First I gave this 3 stars but then I changed to 5 as Shopbop will replace my broken one - straight away, even though I slept and showered with it and the kind and polite woman at Customer Service wrote that I should not do that. My initial review said: I LOVE the look of this (got the jade one) but it broke after just a couple of weeks. I slept and showered with it on a few times but I expected it not to break that easily. Still, it looks amazing - I can't fix the broken one but would like to buy a new one or have the stones put on a thin golden chain or something. Supercute!

I wore it today going to the supermarket, I got the emerald color gemstone with fuchsia threading. The color combo is great, however when I got back home and took it off I had green circles imprinted on my wrist which meant the color of the gemstones leached although the bracelet DID NOT come in contact with water. Extremely disappointed. Not worth the price.

Beautiful Bracelet
I just received this bracelet in the Navy color. The color combos of cord and stones are very rich tones. It looks better on wrist and in reality than the photo. The blue ones stones resemble real Sapphires gemstones.

AMAZING
Honestly, one of the nicest most reasonably priced jewelry. The quality of the stones is incredible. I got the Dark Green and it looks soo luxe! Really beautiful unique style. People ask me about it all the time. I definitely recommend! I have my eye out on the jade one next ;) Get it you will not regret it.
