Description
An atypical mix of textiles on an Alexander Wang jacket models the brand's mastery of hard against soft. Strips of glazed leather form panels on a pleated mesh peplum, and angled seams tack the leather collar. Crisp flap pockets split the princess seams. Hidden button closures and lightly padded shoulders. Long sleeves. Lined.

Designer
At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.
