Sam Edelman

Awesome ankle boots that have been super comfortable from the beginning. First boot I've owned that hasn't been a pain to wear in. I'm a 5.5 usually and bought the 6, I had to get an inner sole so they fit snug. Didn't bother me though they are great boots for everyday wear.

I was always skeptical of the Sam Edelman brand only because they do a lot of 'knock-off' styles + usually that means the quality is somewhat depleted from the high-end original shoe. I was looking for a pair of shoes for a wedding and came across an exact copy of a MiuMiu strappy pump by Sam Edelman + was shocked at the comfort level, quality + price. Now that I have faith in the brand + I've over worn my black suede Rachey Comey booties, I thought this would be a great second pair at a quarter of the price. As for sizing, I am almost ALWAYS a 7.5 in shoes. I also have very narrow feet (especially with heels so I always need straps that can be adjusted to the tightest). I have to disagree with some of the other reviews. My SE knock off of the MiuMiu open toe pumps I just got, I would usually do a 7; but the 7.5 was perfect. As for the other reviews saying these booties are wide + roomie in the toe, I have to disagree. Not roomie even for a slender foot. The 7.5 were PERFECT!

I love these boots. I first bought them in black, and a month later I have now purchased the putty colour. I have absolutely lived in my black ones. They go with everything, can be dressed up and down, and are very durable - even in the rain. I found I got small blisters from the first couple of wears, but after that they're fine. I purchased a size 8.5 I am usually a size 8.5, sometimes 9. I have quite a wide foot. These boots are snug at first, but they stretch out a bit... probably half a size or so.

I bought these boots hoping they would be the right size. Based on previous reviews I didn't go down a size and they are a perfect fit. I've had so many compliments and they are super comfy!

I bought this just as an additional item, without having stalked it on blogs like I usually do with shoes.. and it's amazing. I got it in black and I now want it in ALL the colours. It's really comfy and the opening is enough to pop some skinny jeans in to keep you warm. The mini-heel is great - a bit of lift but really really comfortable for walking in all day.

Gorgeous boots but I will unfortunately have to return them as despite taking the advice of other reviews and ordering half a size smaller than my usual, they are still much too big! Otherwise perfect.

I really wanted to love this shoe but I found the height to be unflattering. I liken it to an oxford type shoe, which I know so many girls LOVE but I am on the opposite end of that spectrum. I have a pair of the Isabel Marant Dicker shoes in the taupe and wanted a black counterpart that wouldn't break the bank but the heel height to bit a bit blah to the silhouette of the legs when worn with skinny jeans or short dress.
