Gorgeous fabric, horrible fit
I loved this dress so much that I broke my own price-limit-rule to get it but it was so disappointing. I'm 5'5, 130 lbs, athletically built and a 34C bust - I got the small - I was swimming in this thing. Like the other reviewers noted - it's WAY too long (maybe if I was a 6ft glamazon coat hanger?) and looks like a luxurious potato-sack. Though, even if hemmed to my length, the top was so shapeless and unflattering that it's not worth the extra expense. It does have a lovely back though, very bare and sexy, but overall, such a bummer.

I bought this for a party but had to return. The size I bought was the S but it was huge on my 5"3, 114 lb frame. Even if they would have had the XS in the color oyster it would have been too big.
I did love the material but something about the cut was off. On my friend who is 5'7 and 121lbs it also looked bad. It looked like a designer potato sack on. I saw a picture online of someone else wearing this dress with a fuller figure and it looked shapeless as well.

the middle of the dress is bumpy
the dress is incredibly long, so short petite frames like mine get drowned in the swathe of fabric. however, the fabric itself is incredibly gorgeous, but even an xs is way big for 5'3" and 110 lbs.

difficult wear
love the fabric but not the cut ... its super long which is actually the only thing that gives it some excitement . shipped back . not too many uses for this dress for me . am size 6 and got the s and it was fine.

disaster in the desert
This dress was beautiful and fit perfectly when I recieved it. I bought it to wear to a wedding in Palm Springs last weekend. Thirty minutes into the wedding the seam fell out and my husband had to apply saftey pins all along the bottom. During the reception the strap unravled.....what a mess. Yesterday when we were flying home we set the alarm off at security checkpoint because all of the saftey pins on the dress packed away in my garmet bag. Thanks Alexander.
