Designer
Established in 1936, Ray-Ban has become known for sunglasses that mix the quality construction and durability of performance eyewear with timeless styling. Ray-Ban emerged as a Hollywood favorite in the '60s when Audrey Hepburn wore the Wayfarer in Breakfast at Tiffany's, and their classic Aviator has been featured in a number of films. In 2006, Ray-Ban reintroduced their original Wayfarer, recreating it down to the tiniest detail. The style was a runaway hit, establishing a new generation of Ray-Ban fans.

the size means good fit for both girls and guys.
the only downside is that they arn't polarized - i definitely would have preferred that.

For the boyfriend.
I searched up this oversized wayfarer and it seems like both men and women can wear it. I bought it for my boyfriend who is a tall, big guy. 187cm in height and a good fit build. It fits maybe a teeny too small on him but still looks great. I only expected it to be more "oversized"..

Perfect for wide faces
I have kind of a fat head, and the proportions on these things are perfection. They don't press into my temples/backs of my ears or make my face look huge. Love them.

HUGE
I have 3 pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses and thought I would fall in love with this pair as well. Unfortunately the glasses were huuuuuge on me. I don't have a small face, but they were still way to large for my features. I wanted to love them but unfortunately couldn't -- ended up giving them to boyfriend who loves them.
