Metallic ropes form a knotted appliqué on a one-shoulder, silk-chiffon gown, and a wide belt lends a hint of structure to the draped, ethereal silhouette. Fluttering sashes fall from the thick strap, and a hidden zip closes the side. Lined in charmeuse.

Designer
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met early on at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Georgina began her career as a costume designer while Karen focused on print and embroidery design. When they created Marchesa in 2004, they were already well-versed in the artistry of couture. Named for eccentric socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati, Notte by Marchesa is the duo's moderately-priced second line and features their signature beautiful detailing and expert design.
