The cut and feel of the dress is nice and the fabric is more sparkly than it appears online. It was a touch bigger than expected and might look better on someone with a decent cup size but I felt that the cut of the top and the way the shoulders were wide at the top shrank my chest a little. Length is as it appears online. Bottom is flattering with ruching. Sadly wasn't quite right and had to return.

I'm constantly looking for black dresses for work since we can only wear black (it's a salon), and because of that I'm always looking for different cuts, styles, fabrics, textures. And to be honest, we're not supposed to wear sleeveless, but I have some cute black shrugs I heavily rely on because as we all know, many of the chic, stylish dresses available are sleeveless, and are also more comfortable in the summer (and even the winter at my job the way they crank up the heat in that place!). So, seeing that I'm pretty much obsessed with Alice & Olivia, I just could not pass on this dress. Sure, the sparkles make it a bit evening for a daytime job, but I don't care; any excuse to wear A & O at work for under $300!?!?!!??! The fit is fantastic, totally hugs in all the right places, and the "V" neck falls appropriately even on my 5ft frame. The sparkle of the dress is actually understated in person, not overwhelming. Defiinitely recomend to all who want chic understated elegance

This dress was surprisingly great! The fit is amazing - it is body hugging without being uncomfortable and is extremely flattering. I had to return it because the M was too big - meaning it runs true to size, whereas I sometimes find that Alice and Olivia runs a little smaller than some others. HIGHLY recommend this go-to LBD.

I'm 5'2" 118 pounds and I LOVE this dress. I bought it in XS and it fits perfectly like a glove. My boyfriend saw it on me and was drooling over it. It hit me slightly above the knees, but you can scrunch it up to make it shorter too. The skirt was very form fitting, but the rousing is very forgiving. The top is a little looser but it looks great. I'm a 32C/D and I love the way it looked. I can't wait to wear this out to parties because it's a great classic piece for your closet.
