More of a swimsuit coverup...
Although beautiful, this dress isn't really what I was expecting. It is a bit larger than I anticipated and although I didn't expect it to be form fitting, I didn't expect it to be so tent-like. I thought it would be a cute summer dress, but it really is more of a swimming suit coverup so I'm going to use it in that capacity instead!

I absolutely love my new Free People dress. The color is beautiful; light aqua with bright orange (almost "neon") piping is a beautiful contrast, and the gold trim is the perfect finishing detail, especially if you wear gold accessories. Fit is also perfect - I am a "curvy" size 6 or 8 and 5'7" and I got a medium, so it flows beautifully without the maternity look that some trapeze style dress have. And the shorter length in front still makes it sexy enough to show some leg. Racer back style is also flattering, and just enough material under arms so that a strapless bra does not peek out. I get compliments on this dress every time I wear it. And the fabric is a light "wrinkled" cotton, so you can roll it up and travel easily with it, since wrinkles are part of the look. Can you tell I am in love?? :)
