I have the black, in a size large. I am a UK 14/ US 10. Great maxi skirt length for 5'6" Waistband comfortable Easy, basic piece to wear Not sheer Fabric is average. You could wear this during the day, but the shape, it's not very fitted, and material prevents this being a smart evening skirt.

The overall shape is quite frumpy so I didn't find it flattering at all. It fits sort of in the hips but then bags out weirdly in the bottom so that it looks as though your legs from the thighs down are wider/shaped like a rectangle. The fabric was just so-so.

Recently purchased this skirt and know that it will be a summer essential. Super soft fabric!

I recently ruined a moss-green Velvet by Graham & Spencer skirt I bought a couple of years ago (the Anthropologie 'Water's Edge' skirt). It was a wardrobe staple, and perennially flattering. I hoped the Splendid Maxi Skirt in Military would replace it, but it didn't look anywhere near as good. While the Velvet by G&S skirt had a double layer of jersey, the Splendid skirt is unlined. I'm a US 8/AU 12, and bought this in M. It didn't actually feel too small, but the style is really clingy and leaves nothing to the imagination. In fact, it seemed to reveal bulges I didn't know I had, and the panty-line was plainly visible. I looked like a sack of potatoes. The foldover waist helps a bit, but it's still unflattering. I would have to wear Spanx with this, and that defeats the purpose of an easy-going jersey maxi. The quality of the fabric was good, as I'd expect from Splendid, but the colour is more yellow than I expected. It really is an army green. Sadly, it's going back.

Good basic that looks cute worn either way. As a dress, falls somewhere in the calf area but I can wear as a skirt with flats, too (I'm 5'6"). I had a thread come out pretty soon after I purchased, but nothing that caused it to fall apart and repaired it pretty easily.

I have been searching everywhere for a skirt like this. I am usually a size 10 Australian but have recently had a baby so I'm 5kgs heavier than normal... I opted for the medium as I'm heavier around my hips. This style is perfect for me and the fabric is so soft. I'm yet to wash it but from reading previous reviews it seems to wash well.

Nothing special. You can get one same one in any department store cheaper

Cute skirt...glad I read the reviews and decided to size up otherwise the waist band would have turned me into a sausage! Size up if you want a more flowy feel to the skirt. It is a good, basic maxi skirt...
