very flattering
J brand really has a great fit. All I ever want to put on are my J brands. I am usually a 24 in J brand, but I wanted more of a casual fit so I ordered a 24 and 25 to decide. I picked the 24, ultimately, because of the sag in the knees in the bigger size. Waist wise, it was practically the same. My only wish is that they were a higher rise. I really wanted true high waisted jeans that covered my belly button. These are about an inch below. I'm 5'3" and these a are great length.

Amazing
These are the perfect black jeans. They have retained their jet-black color after two washes. The fit is amazing-- I am usually a 28 and stuck to my regular size, but could've gone down to a 27 comfortably. I've gained a few lbs recently and found that the slightly high waist on these jeans is extremely flattering. I'm seriously considering getting a 2nd pair in size 27, to have one tighter pair and one with a more relaxed fit. Love!!!

J Brand High Rise
I love the simplicity of J Brand jeans -- no contrast stitching, studs or labelling makes for the ultimate flattering pair of jeans, especially in a dark colour. The hight waist is great for tucking blouses and shirts into and for showcasing a cropped jacket. The denim is soft yet firm and quite form fitting and uplifting where needed. I found them true to size and as depicted in photographs. 'Maria' will be a hard working addition to my wardrobe.

These jeans are super flattering and feel amazing on! Bought the black after snapping up the maroon on sale. Got my usual 27 (I'm an aus 10) and fits like a charm!

Oh, yeah
These are gorgeous, as expected from JBrand. I got my normal size 31. I am 5'6" size 8/10 pear shaped and muscular.They make my legs look long and the high waist makes everything I wear with it look more tailored. The ankle is really narrow so they will fit into boots really well. I will be living in these. The material is soft and thick but stretchy so they feel great. They remind me of the old punk rocker jeans from the 90's. Awesome.

Theres two cuts!
I bought these jeans about 12 months ago. Got a size 27 and they were too big. But everything else was perfect so I wore them for ages.
When on holiday overseas I found a 26 there and tried them on. They were completely different! The back pockets were way higher and made my butt look really weird and large.
I think there are two cuts, the older ones were amazing, the newer ones not so much. I think these must be the newer ones now as the pockets look super high in the model. It's a real shame as I would love them in a 26.
Still, I rate them 4 stars for the sake of the originals, and other than that the fit is just superb.

GET THE SIZE DOWN
I love these jeans so much but unfortunately they are too big for me, they felt good when i put them on the first time but after one wear they were too big. I have 2 other pairs of Jbrand jeans both different types and i wear a 27 - these i should have got a 26 in as now i have to put them in the dryer every time i want to wear them.
overall these would be an everyday piece if they fit me properly.

these jeans are better than sliced bread
First-up, these jeans are my absolute favourite favourite ever.
These make my butt look fantastic - frequently have issues with things being too tight across the butt whilst being not quite fitted enough in the waist. Or, the cut is so that there's a lot of fabric underneath my butt while the top is quite compressed. Not a great look. These jeans (and they are jeans, despite the wonderful range of movement) are just fantastic in the posterior. High waist is so comfortable and the length is cute and slightly cropped on me.
I can do a full plie in them. They are amazing. I took my regular 27 and my only regret is not taking a 26 - the stretch will give a little in a day's wear, and the 26 would have been less 'casual' looking.
For reference, I am a 5'9'' Australian size 9 on the bottom (eights are a squeeze, tens can be roomy) with relatively slim thighs, a low waist-to-hip ratio (fairly up 'n' down typical Asian-girl bod) and not a lot of butt.
