I have wanted a Shirtdress for years, but quickly learned after trying on a few that finding one that fits and doesn't look like you're wearing one of your husband's button-downs is not an easy task. Enter this Shirtdress from Haute Hippie. One of my designer go-to's, HH never disappoints. The dress hits a little below mid-thigh and is ideal for work to weekend to evening. I tried on both a large and medium at a specialty retailer and the medium fit well, But I ordered the large from Shopbop in order to give myself another inch or so length-wise (I'm 5'10 so if you're on the petite side go with your usual size). One of the best qualities of HH is their lasting power. Their items are on the spendy side, but they're truly seasonless. I clean out my closet twice yearly and I've yet to donate a single HH item I've purchased over the past five years. Even though I've been looking for this style for a few years, finding a Shirtdress as gorgeous and well-fitted as this was worth the wait.
