WOW, these platforms really gave me model height! While still looking and feeling comfortable. A little disappointed with color transfer to bare feet with the black color which is reason for only 4stars, but none the less they are fun and flattering for a night out, with most any outfit, pants, skirts, or dresses.

Most comfortable pair of pumps I own
I purchased these in taupe earlier in the fall and they were so comfortable and versitile I purchased them in black. I love how comfortable they are, I actually wore them to a wedding last weekend, I had them on all night dancing and all and my feet didn't start hurting until 1am. They purchased my normal size 7/5 and they fit great.

surprisingly comfy
I'm really pleased with these. The reviews were iffy, and I had heard bad things about E&J shoes, so I waited til they were way on sale, but I'm so glad i got them. Yes, it's a very tall heel, but if you don't have any problems with the height, they're great. The heel is well balanced and comfy. I don't feel like my ankle is going to slip out. The leather is sturdy but very soft, and I don't think they'll need any breaking in. They look adorable on, too.

Beautiful and painful
So sorry that I had to return these... but they hurt, a lot! They were also too big as I read reviews suggesting they run smaller than expected so I went with half size bigger. Mistake! They seem to run true to size. I would have exchanged them for the right size, but they were painful to walk and did not want to take the chance.

Striking
This shoe is striking. It's not flashy, it's not over the top, too eccentric, or too plain. It's simply striking. I was concerned about the sizing due to the other reviews, however I ordered my true size, and it fits fine. I wore these to a wedding for the first time. I was on my feet about 7 hours and they did not start hurting until about hour 6. That's impressive for a shoe with a heel this height. Love the color, love the style!

Beware, this shoe is an ankle breaker!!!
This shoe very quickly sold out on Shopbop and I went on an internet rampage to find them anywhere online. I had to have them, they looked so sassy and the taupe color was a must have for fall. I wear 7-7 1/2 in dress shoes and ordered them in a size 7.5, they fit fine, but these shoes are so clunky and high, they are very difficult to walk in, and I normally wear 4.5 platforms on a daily basis, on my feet all day! They are definitely cute, but I am not sure they are worth the pain, unlike Christian Louboutin pain. I've worn them once and they are sadly still sitting in my car because I had to take them off while driving they hurt so bad :(
